the heart of the matter

There is a deep entanglement between my connection with my family, my home, my surroundings, that melt together and caress my soul much like a warm cup of tea. The way I take in the world, I see everything around me as art. It is slow, it is intentional. I want to share it with you. I want to show you that our every day experiences are meaningful. Even though we can’t get these moments back, we can store pieces of them. Your real life is beautiful, and you deserve to not only see it, but feel it, touch it, experience it, in images.I use a documentary inspired approach, asking that you be brave enough to show up as yourselves. I like letting moments unfold, nudging, observing, and creating a comfortable space to enjoy the experience of taking photos. I believe that when we work together, I leave you all with pieces of my heart, I’d love to show you more of it.
